Creating an account requires an email address and password, handled by our authentication service. You can also provide a bakery name and save a default hourly rate.

The app stores information you choose to save, including ingredients, package prices, recipe details, customer names, order descriptions, notes, quote estimates, issued quote records and actual order costs. Customer information is supplied by the baker using the account. Avoid including sensitive information that is unnecessary for a cake order.

If you email support, your message and contact details are used to respond and handle your request.

The calculator keeps a working draft in your browser, and sign-in information is stored locally to maintain your session. A browser draft is separate from a quote saved to your account. Clearing browser storage can remove the draft and sign you out. Signing out does not necessarily remove a calculator draft, so take care on shared devices.

CakeQuote records selected signed-in actions, such as saving or issuing a quote, to understand how the service is used. These records include an account identifier, event name, time and limited numeric or yes/no details, including quote prices, total costs, cost differences and whether an example is being used. They are linked to accounts and are not anonymous.

Lovable, our hosting platform, also provides visitor analytics, including visits, page views, traffic sources, device types and approximate country information. Hosting and authentication services process technical connection and diagnostic information to operate and protect the app.

No Google Analytics, Meta advertising pixel or other advertising tracker has been added to the current app. This does not mean the site has no analytics or technical logging.

Information is used to provide sign-in, store and retrieve your work, respond to support requests, understand usage and maintain security. Service providers process information needed for those functions.

The app uses Lovable hosting and its managed Cloud backend for database and authentication services. Lovable Cloud uses Supabase-based technology. See Lovable's Privacy Policy for its description of platform processing.

We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims.

The public beta does not collect payments or require payment details. Stripe is currently used only for restricted payment testing. Test records include Stripe identifiers, subscription status and billing-period details. The app does not store full card numbers. This policy will be updated before public paid billing begins. Account information, saved work and account-linked activity are currently retained without an automatic expiration schedule. Ingredients and recipes can be deleted using the app's controls. Removing a library item does not remove copies already saved in quote records.

Email [email protected] to request access, correction, deletion or account closure. We may need to verify your identity. There is no self-service control to delete an account or a saved quote. Some information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or address security issues.

Removing data from the active app does not necessarily remove it immediately from provider backups or logs. No fixed backup-erasure period is promised in this policy. Clearing a local browser draft does not delete a quote saved to your account.

If your information was entered by a baker using CakeQuote Studio, contact that baker about the order or its records. You can also contact TaktTrace for help with a privacy request.

Authentication and account-level access controls restrict access to saved records. No system can guarantee complete security. Contact [email protected] if you suspect an account or data security problem.

The service is intended for people running cake businesses and is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information.

We will update this policy and its effective date when our practices change, and provide any additional notice required by law.
